Why Arrived Exists
Schools and childcare centers use Arrived to notify parents when a child arrives — and, more importantly, when they don’t. Guardians receive automated text messages at a designated time. If a child is forgotten in the car, the alert goes out while there is still time to rescue them from the vehicle, before a tragedy can occur.
Stress, changing schedules, and unfamiliar routines raise the risk for every family — and despite our disbelief, it can happen to anyone. If we can save even one of the three dozen children who will be forgotten this year, it will all have been worth it. But we’re not going to stop until we’ve saved them all.

Founder’s Story
Lily Crocquet is a long-time child safety advocate and mother of three. Born in Henderson, Nevada, she has always been familiar with extreme heat and the stories of tragedy that come with it. Every year, children suffer heat-related death after being forgotten in the car on the way to school or daycare. It’s any parent’s worst nightmare — and it can happen to anyone.
Fortunately, we live in the age of computer science. In 2021, Lily founded SafeSeat and launched the Arrived app using her personal savings. The lite version of Arrived is free for schools and childcare centers, so every parent can enjoy peace of mind knowing their children are safe in their seats.
